Paying tribute to people and place through innovative oral histories
The Broadmeadows Town Hall, or Pink Elephant as it was fondly known, is an important repository of community memory. Its recent renovation called for new artworks for an inaugural exhibition in its brand-new exhibition space. Singing Bowl Media was commissioned by Hume City Council to create a media artwork to pay tribute to the hall's vast history and the memories it holds for the community. The result was a creative exhibition documentary, presented on three projectors, that pays tribute to place and people.
